OUR HISTORY

PT. Tarumanegara Buanatek was founded in 1993 by Ir. Agus Johan and Ir. Sudioto Susilo, MSc. They have both previously founded PT. Tarumanegara Bumiyasa in 1989. Agus and Sudioto established another geotechnical engineering company specialising in substructure construction in order to follow the new government policy at the time that requires a separation between geotechnical construction company and geotechnical consulting company.

The hard work and commitment of both founders to the company are aimed to provide exceptional quality and continuous improvement. Agus and Sudioto have brought the company to grow and to be involved in projects that are spread all over Jakarta as well as other provinces in Indonesia.

In 1992, Ir.Sudioto Susilo went to USA to pursue his Master’s degree at Geotechnical Division of Civil Engineering Department of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.

In 1994, Ir. Agus Johan and other key personnel went to Cleveland, Ohio, USA to participate in a short course of Pile Dynamic Analysis (PDA).

In 1996, both founders decided that Sudioto should focus on and manage the existing PT. Tarumanegara Bumiyasa while Agus should focus on and manage the new PT. Tarumanegara Buanatek.

In 1997 Ir. Agus Johan took a short course on Site Investigation with Geophysical Methods and Modern Testing Techniques at Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) Bangkok, Thailand.
